My art is up! I'm so excited 🙂 Come take a look at the Snoqualmie City Hall for the next three months. Jason helped me prep and hang 10 pieces, and they look great. My thanks to Jason, Pam and Marie for helping me crest this next level in my art-venture ❤️

Almost Ready: City Hall Exhibition
For the past three weeks I've been preping like crazy, getting ready for my first public exhibition! My work will be on display at the Snoqualmie City Hall for the summer. I'm excited, nervous and a little frazzled, but so thankful to have this experience. Here are a few of the pieces I'll be showing. I … Continue reading Almost Ready: City Hall Exhibition
Mermaid Sketches
Just a few quick sketches from this week. Who doesn't like a good mermaid? 🙂

This Friday, April 29, I'll be down in Snoqualmie at their new venture - Finally Friday Art and Wine Walk. You can buy tickets for wine tasting here and check out local artists while you stroll and sip. To Horn In Or Not?
My journal is now complete. Totally finished. It's a bittersweet feeling, but I have to say, I'm glad it ended on this note. One of my favorite pages in my journal is the one here, on the left side of the image. It's titled, "Good Friends Feed Your Soul." It was a lot of … Continue reading To Horn In Or Not?

Variations on a Theme
A few weeks ago, I did a sketch of this lady of the sea. I've played around with her a bit, trying out a new water color palette and paper. I'm also working on another rendition of this lady in one of my journals. Have ideas about her story? Post them below 🙂

Some trumpet the celebration of life; others dread the inevitable encroachment of "old age". Most of us likely fall somewhere in between. I find that as I write more and more death announcements (part … Continue reading Happy Birthday, Miranda!
See Yourself
The completed piece - See Yourself: You Can't Hide From You. I love the vivid colors! Something that doesn't come through in the photo is how opalescent and shiny the ink is. I've been diggin on iridescent colors. I've read quite a few resolution lists lately and I think this speaks to my goal for next year. … Continue reading See Yourself
Work in Progress
My latest work in progress. I should have this one finished up tomorrow night. This isn't where I saw it going from the first stage. I originally planned to do something involving a human spine but, haha, that didn't happen. I'm excited to see where this ends up tomorrow.
